Florals: Garden Couture

There is something just so utterly refreshing about floral apparel. To me they symbolize the calm blossom, fresh rejuvenation and splendor of a stroll through a perfectly kept manicured garden.

In the Spring 2012 shows held late last year, the floral print was used by various high end designers for its refreshening feel and impression of sophistication. From New York, Paris, to Milan, florals rocked the runway both for couture and ready to wear fashion, an indication of the next impressionable print for 2012.

For those who are bold and daring, head to toe florals are the way to go. Caution is however applied in the execution of this trend, which is ideal when applied with soft pastels combined with neutral accessories.

For a minimalist yet trendy look, florals maybe applied in single items paired with back drops of neutral shades.

Within our tropical backdrop, floral fashion is the perfect address to represent African finesse.

Have a great Thursday.

Love, S.S!!!

  3. I love the first dress! The print reminds me of a limoncello recipe print I bought in Italy a few years ago. ;-)
